As a mother of five children and a proud grandmother of ten, Nichole finds immense joy in nurturing these precious relationships. She walks her talk, living each day with discernment and integrity. Being a grandmother is the most rewarding aspect of her life, and she cherishes the role she plays in their lives.
Nichole's educational journey showcases her determination and commitment to excellence. With a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology specializing in Community Mental Health and Black Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, she has embodied academic success. Her achievements include a 4.0 GPA, Summa Cum Laude honors, and a thesis hypothesis focused on the benefits of rehabilitation programming pre- and post-incarceration with a broader consideration in psychotherapy.
Nichole holds an impressive array of certifications and qualifications, reflecting her expertise in multiple areas. She is a Certified Addiction Treatment Specialist (CATS-IV-CAADE) and recognized by The National Certification Commission of Addiction Counselors. Additionally, she is a Certified Sexual Health Educator and a Certified HIV/STI Facilitator/Case Manager through the Health Department/CCSF. Nichole’s is also a certified trainer, for the evidenced based curriculum, Thinking for a Change (T4C) through the National Institute on Corrections. Her expertise extends to relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, domestic violence counseling, and more.
Nichole's impact and significance in her field have been acknowledged through various awards. She has received the In The Trenches Award as a Change Maker by the Bayview Senior Center in San Francisco. Additionally, she has been recognized with Commendations from the City and County of San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors, the City and County of Hayward, and the County of Alameda. Her work has garnered appreciation from the California State Senate, Senator Mark Leno, and Nancy Pelosi, the U.S. House of Representatives.

Throughout her personal journey, Nichole has overcome significant challenges and served a total of eight years in and out of every women's correctional facility in California. With an 8th grade education, 1.7 GPA, and the fierce determination of a winner, Nichole turned this determination into a powerful force to be reckoned with and uses her journey as a testament that change is possible and that there is life after incarceration and drug addiction. This first hand experience fuels her advocacy and dedication to empowering formerly incarcerated individuals to break the cycle of recidivism. Through her coaching, speaking, and facilitation services of various cognitive behavioral curriculums, she helps transform lives and create positive change.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Nichole enjoys singing, dancing, reading, and spending time with family. These activities bring her joy and allow her to explore her creativity and passion for self-expression.
Guided by her mission statement, Nichole is driven to inspire personal growth, promote community service, and make a lasting impact in the lives of many individuals and communities. She believes that change starts from within and embodies Mahatma Gandhi's quote, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
